Ottoman Empire: Dobrogea (now part of Romania): Danube Delta: Saint George (Sfantu Gheorghe) mouth. '... Détails des travaux d'amelioration': plan and sections showing details of improvement works carried out by the European Danube Commission. Horizontal scale: 1 inch to 200 feet [1:2400]; vertical scale: 1 inch to 20 feet [1:240]. Produced to illustrate a [technical] report by C A Hartley, Engineer-in-Chief, 31 January 1859. This plan had apparently been bound in the wrong place in the parent document; it refers to Project Number 3, shown in items 4, 10-11.
