Middle East: Ottoman Empire, Persia. Sketch map showing 3 suggested frontiers in the area (now in Iran and Iraq) around Mandali and Zohab; also showing relief and rivers. Prepared by E B Soane; lithographed by Harrison and Sons, Saint Martin's Lane. MS addition marking an area which would be given to Turkey under the terms of the Grand Viziers's proposals. Signed: E B Soane, Chah-i-Shurkh, 13 January 1913. Originally enclosed in a Foreign Office minute concerning the frontier question, 3 April 1913.
