South-west Asia. Two copies of 'A sketch map of the Russo Turkish Frontier in Asia based upon the Russian Staff Map shewing the boundaries as proposed by the Preliminary Treaty of San Stefano and as fixed by the Treaty of Berlin'. Also shows Russian frontier since 1829. Reference table. [Drawn and lithographed by] Stanford's Geographical Establishment, London. The area shown is now in Turkey, Armenia and Georgia: (15) As above, uncoloured. (16) A coloured version of (15), with pencilled marginal notes, indicating corrections to be made. The map as amended was published in E Hertslet, The Map of Europe by Treaty. 1814-1891, vol IV, 1891, where the date of the Russian frontier has been altered from 1829 to 1856.
