France, Germany: 'A Map to illustrate the Boundary Convention between France and Prussia 23 rd October 1829'. Map showing the area between Metz, Thionville, Ottweiler and Sarreguemines. Scale:1:468,864 (calculated). [Drawn and lithographed by] Stanford's Geographical Establishment, Charing Cross, London. Pencilled note in upper margin about size of paper to be used. Another version of this map, showing boundary changes effected in 1871, was published in E Hertslet, The Map of Europe by Treaty. 1814-1875, vol II, 1875.
