Belgium and France. 2 copies of a map of '(2) Southern Area', with coloured, MS additions showing air reconnaissance areas north and west of St Quentin allocated to the Third and Fourth Armies and to the French from midnight 26-27 August 1918. Boundaries between British and French bombing areas are also shown. Produced by the Ordnance Survey October 1917. Originally enclosed in despatch CRAF 1930/1 G dated 20 August 1918 from Maj Gen Commanding RAF in the Field, itself accompanying papers concerning the cooperation between French and British Flying Services.
