Originally enclosed in a despatch dated 7 October 1918, itself accompanying a file entitled 'Areas of Activity. Co-operation between French and British Flying Services 29th May to 10th October 1918'. MS title reads 'Areas for Reconnaissance to come into force midnight 8th and 9th October 1918'.
