Description

Saxe to Cumberland, informing him that the French king has consented to the peace preliminaries and inviting him to set a date to proclaim the armistice. Limits on movements of both the armies. As the Austrians are not included in the armistice, he must continue hostilities against them. Dated at camp below Maastricht. ff. 300, 301
