'Coolie' Indian Immigrants; House of Assembly's disappointment at Grenada not receiving Indian immigrants this year and pledging itself to provide necessary funds for 700 'statute adult' immigrants next year and succeeding years; list of applications for Immigrants 1859-60 includes the name of the estate, proprietor, resident attorney, lessee or manager, and numbers of African and Indian immigrants wanted.
