Plaintiffs: Isaac Heyliger Dewhurst and wife.
Defendants: John Bramstone Stane, William Beckford and Lawrence Kortright.
Amended by an order dated 26 May 1840: Thomas Huxley and wife, William Kortright and wife, George Tuffnell and wife, Emily Kortright, William Newton, Samuel Newton Kortright (abroad), James Wilson and wife (abroad), George Beresford Christmas and wife (abroad), Elizabeth Kulm (abroad) and Edward Stevens and wife (abroad) added as defendants.
Amended by an order dated 07 Jul 1840: John Bramstone Stane (senior) and wife added as defendants. Thomas Huxley and wife, George Tuffnell and wife removed as defendants.
Amended by an order dated 06 Oct 1840: Thomas Huxley and wife, George Tuffnell and wife and Emily Kortright added as defendants.
