Plaintiffs: Sir James Cockburn.

Defendants: Hannah Tolson, Thomas Collett, Mary Emmerson, Charles Wheatley, John Waller, Charles Tolson and Thomas Hinchliffe otherwise Thomas Hinchcliffe (abroad).

Amended by an order dated 11 Nov 1841: John Hinchliffe (abroad), Joseph Hinchliffe, William Hinchliffe, John Wilson Thomas Wilby, George Mitchell and wife, Benjamin Wilson, George Wilson, Hannah Wilson, Mary Wilson, Samuel Crabtree, Samuel Crabtree (junior), Thomas Phillips, William Henry Thornton, Anna Maria Thornton, Joseph Wood, John Lister, James Cowell and Thomas Baines added as defendants.

Amended by an order dated 09 Jun 1842: Mary Popplewell, Lucy Ann Crabtree, Joshua Phillips, Thomas Milner, Sarah Wilby and Hannah Hollas added as defendants. Mary Wilson and Samuel Crabtree (junior) removed as defendants.

Amended by an order dated 22 Nov 1842: John Biggs and wife added as defendants. Lucy Ann Crabtree removed as a defendant.

Amended by an order dated 11 Jan 1844: Edwin Tolson and Frank Tolson added as defendants.
