Description

Forwards copies of the first three editions of a new newspaper, The Barbados People and Windward Islands Gazette, and comments favourably on the stated intention of the publication to 'advocate liberally the policy of Her Majesty's Government and the good of the people, and to avoid the unwholesome indulgence in personal vituperation, to which the other prints of the Island are too prone'.
