Cumberland to Sandwich: his remonstrances against Dutch inactivity have had no effect. The delay is endangering Maastricht. Troops are being kept at The Hague for the christening parade. The prince of Orange at a loss how to proceed. This weakness will encourage the French to make greater demands at Aix la Chapelle. The court of Vienna must be made aware of the situation. Dated at The Hague. ff. 130-133
