Extract from the journal of the resolutions of the states general consisting of instructions to M Gronfeld, ambassador to Prussia. In concert with Mr Legge, the British envoy, he is to urge the king of Prussia either to join the allies or to use his good offices with France in favour of peace. He is to propose a treaty of mutual defence between the Netherlands and Prussia. ff. 115-118
