Cumberland to Chesterfield: the army has marched to this place on false information on the enemy's movements. He encloses a plan of the camp. Eighteen battalions under Count Daun have been sent against Clermont. He will cross the Demer that evening. He thinks the enemy will be obliged to deploy the whole force against him. Recommendations for promotion. Dated at headquarters at Zonhoven. PS. on his intended attack on the camp of Bilsen and Tongres. ff. 365-367
