Description

Ligonier [to Harrington]: the armies are in the same position. Waldeck has taken 5,000 Bavarians into service. Prince Charles [of Lorraine] has heard that the duke [of Cumberland] is to come. He encloses a copy of a letter [SP 87/21/2] from Waldeck to the prince. Shortage of forage. Dated at camp at Villers. ff. 1, 2
