Description

Harrington to Ligonier: he is to insist with Bathiani or Prince Charles [of Lorraine] that he be allowed to establish the number of Austrian troops in British pay. He is to use his discretion whether to employ Cresner. Death of the king [Philip V] of Spain. Dated (OS) at Whitehall. ff. 235, 236
