Description

Ligonier [to Harrington]: the enemy have invested Charleroi and St Ghislain. He encloses and commends a memorial from Mr Hatton. M Coesener, a prospective agent. [Bathiani] desires an advance of £50,000. The question of his rank with regard to the Hanoverians. Dated at camp at 'Bavell' & 'Splear'. ff. 230, 231
