Ligonier to Bathiani, enclosing a copy of his commission from the king showing he shares the same rank as Waldeck. He commands a corps of 31,000, which will probably increase. He cannot obey his instructions to act in accordance with councils of war if he is not admitted to those councils. He will send Bathiani's response by express to the king. Dated at camp at Terhyde. ff. 215-218
