Ligonier to Harrington: surrender of Mons. The enemy intend to invest Charleroi and St Ghislain. He cannot be of any service since his rank excludes him from attending councils of war. He encloses a copy of his letter to Bathiani on the subject [SP 87/20/124]. He has issued a warrant for baggage money for the four battalions. Movements of the enemy. Dated at camp at Terhyde. PS. that he has received Bathiani's answer to his letter. ff. 213, 214
