Description

Dunmore to Fawkener: the forage magazines at Antwerp are vulnerable; he proposes disposing of the forage, but will not do so until ordered. He encloses the treaty for a joint battering train. Withdrawal from Grimberg castle and bad conduct of Captain Freron; he proposes his dismissal. Various units to march towards Mechelen. He fears for the safety of Vilvoorde. Garrison of Brussels in good spirits and not wanting for provisions. Dated at Antwerp. ff. 66-68
