Paper of intelligences from Boulogne: there are 200 ships and about 12,000 men in Calais and Boulogne. Unsuccessful attack on Boulogne by seven English ships. Deterred by the presence of the English fleet, the French were ordered into quarters at St Omer. Some say this was a feint and they would reassemble once the English fleet was gone. f. 59
