Description

George Cressener [to Dunmore]: information from Paris confirms his belief that plans for an invasion have been laid aside, but the appearance kept up so as to draw troops out of Flanders. They will send arms, stores etc. to [the rebels in] Skye and Mull. Further reasons against an invasion. Dated at Brussels. f. 53
