Description

Dunmore to Harrington, quoting a report from a man he sent to Dunkirk:

A large number of troops have embarked at Boulogne. M. de Richelieu and [Charles O'Brien], Lord Clare have been in Calais, Dunkirk and Boulogne, having received a message that [Henry], the second son of the Chevalier St George had arrived and was lodged incognito in a convent. Orders have arrived for all corn merchants in the Channel ports to gather all they can and have it milled immediately.

As hearsay, he does not set much value on it. The last of the Hessian cavalry have left and their infantry are about to. Shortage of money in Antwerp for pay and subsistence. Dated at Antwerp. ff. 18, 19
