Forwards for approval a copy of 'An Act to repeal"The Imports Tariff Act 1873" and to make other provisions in lieu thereof'. [Copy of act not in item] With reports by the governor, the lieutenant governor, the attorney general and solicitor general addressing a possible misinterpretation of one clause. Sanctioned by Colonial Office in recognition that amendment may be made if the problem is legally raised. (See also CO 321/7/51).
