Description
Petitioners
Roger Maudut (Mauduit).
Name(s)
Maudut (Mauduit), Roger
Addressees
King and council.
Nature of request
Mandut requests a similar writ to the one which was granted to him in parliament but with a clause non obstante. He was granted the writ to make allowance of a sum of money that he ought to render at the Exchequer, as the ministers do not wish to do anything. He wishes them to have regard for the great damages and losses that he has suffered by the Scottish wars and his long service to the king and his predecessors.

He should have a writ to the treasurer and barons of the Exchequer to make an allowance for him with the clause non obstante of the things due to him by bills of the Wardrobe.
