- The Maltons request a remedy be made to them for they were resident in York when the queen took him to her wages, and Waltham came to Loretta's house and wounded and beat the petitioners. They summoned Waltham before the bailiffs of the town for the trespass and pleaded to the inquisition so that Waltham was condemned for the damages of 20 marks. Waltham afterwards came by force and arms by endorsement of Despenser and Baldok and imprisoned Stephen de Malton until he made an acquittance to Waltham for the 20 marks.
