Nature of request
Lynde requests remedy since he thinks that he should not be charged for the exchange of land made between Neville and the king. Lynde holds land in Lincolnshire in Laceby, Swallow and Little Coates, which his father purchased in the time of Henry III from Neville, which land King John gave to Neville's ancestors free and quit for the manor of Bere, of which exchange the king is now seised. Lynde is distrained for the relief of Neville.

He should certify the council of what Hugh de Neville held. He should certify the council of the form of the feoffment of Neville, and of whom holds it, and this should be certified in Chancery.
