Nature of request
Lymesy requests that the manors of Monnington and Dilwyn be delivered to him together with the issues in the meantime, as the manors were granted to Lymesy's father by Nicholas de Audley for a certain rent. The manors are in the hand of the king by Lymesy's father's forfeiture because he was an adherent of the earl of Lancaster.
Nature of endorsement
Let this petition be ordered into Chancery and the chancellor is to inform himself of the cause of the taking of the lands contained in this petition into the king's hand. And if it was so taken because of the quarrel, and not for any other reason then let the lands and tenements be restored by due process.
