Nature of request
Lymesy requests that the rent [granted] in the vill of Foleshill for the term of the life of Robert, which is in the king's hand by the quarrel of the earl of Lancaster, be delivered to him with the issues according to the gift.
Nature of endorsement
Let this petition be ordered into Chancery, and there let the cause for the taking into the king's hand of the rent contained in the petition be viewed, and if the rent was taken into the king's hand because of the quarrel and not for another reason, let the rent be restored to the heir by due process.
