Note
Dated on the guard to '? 1307-10' and to 'prob. c. 1310' with reference to CCR 1307-13 p.195, an order to discharge John le Despenser, executor of the will and co-heir of John de London, of all debts due from John at his death, as the late king pardoned him these debts on account of his good service. This is dated 23 February 1310. The petition ought to date from before this date, but as these debts might have been overlooked it might well be later, especially in view of the French endorsement (although there have been French endorsements this early).
