The Mayor, Aldermen and community of London complain about a conspiracy between Richard de Tiffeld, John de Stenyngton, and Alice, wife of Thomas Baroun, to have Thomas killed in order to have his possessions, through which they had him imprisoned in Newgate prison, outlawed, and finally hanged: all between the eleventh and [eighteenth] years of the king's reign. They ask for the advice of the king and council on what to do with them if they are convicted of this.
