Nature of request
The Earl of Louth asks the king to assign various people to account with him monies he received in England and Ireland, and to order the Treasurer of Ireland to receive the account and to allow him what is reasonable. He also asks for an allowance for 200 marks, which he lent the king to provide provisions in Ireland, and to ordain for the wages of his people for their return to their country.
Nature of endorsement
With regard to the account: the king wishes to assign such people as he pleases to audit it.With regard to the 200 marks: the Treasurer of Ireland is to be ordered to inform the king how he lent them, and what was done with them.

'Irish Ancient Petitions', p.20 assigns this petition to 'c.1323-4'. It is also dated on the guard to c.1323, with reference to CPR 1321-4 p.348, which does not however appear to be relevant.
