Nature of request
The petitioners state that kings have granted the franchise of Tickhill to Queen Isabella and then to Queen Philippa, which ought to be geldable and annexed to the body of the county. The petitioners are charged with all the profits thereof, without regard to the aforesaid franchises, from which they have taken nothing. The petitioners seek allowance on their accounts for their time as sheriff of Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire.

Let this petition be sent to the treasurer and barons of the Exchequer to inspect the petition, and having heard their claims, should grant them due allowance as reason allows.
