Nature of request
The petitioner seeks the manor and mill of Trefriw in Nantconwy and their appurtenances (for whatever term) at farm extended in the exchequer of Caernarfon. He shows that his father served the dead king in the conquest of Wales, and afterwards Tudor was killed at the battle of Stirling in his service, and also the petitioner was twice in his expeditions of war and will always be ready as a faithful and loyal man, for all orders.
Nature of endorsement
Coram Rege.Let the Justice be ordered that if the petitioner be sufficient for the keeping of the manor and if he finds enough surety to answer for the farm and extent, to deliver the keeping of it to him by such surety, if he has not beforehand for certain delivered it to any other.
