Nature of request
The petitioner seeks the voidance of a feoffement made to his disinheritance contrary to the law of the land by John de Norwood. He shows that he was serving the king in Wales and in his protection when Norwood took a malicious feoffement from the lands of Ermintrude [de Gressy] of a third part of the manor of Herrietishaum, which she did not hold freely in dower. After her death it returns to the petitioner.
