The petitioner seeks compensation and delivery of seisin in eight bovates of land in Melton Mowbray, along with the advowson of Melton Mowbray Church. He shows that the king recently ordered Bolingbroke to deliver seisin of the same to the petitioner and the convent of Lewes, which he has not done to the damage of the petitioner and convent of £40.
