Nature of request
The heirs of Llywarch ap Bleddyn seek permission to build a mill at Brodres in Dinllaen commote because Llewarch was possessed of a mill in the same place after the conquest by the king's grandfather, which place will not be to the loss of the king.1)
Nature of endorsement
Coram Rege et magno consilio.2) Let them have an order to the justice or his lieutenant to make enquiry whether it would be to the loss of the king or not, and to certify the court.
