Nature of request
The petitioner seeks to know how much of a certain debt he will receive and how much he will lose. He shows that the king's father was held to William Servat by various bills from the chamber of the wardrobe in £2410 6s 8d, from which Servat designed a perpetual chantry of thirteen chaplains for his soul and for the souls of all Christians. The petitioner was granted a suit by petition made in the parliament at Westminster, Monday following the feast of St Katherine lately past, with an answer to the petitioner, who has a writ to the treasurer and barons of the exchequer that they inspect the said bills and pay a proportion of them.
Nature of endorsement
Let him have an order by a writ from chancery to the treasures and barons of the exchequer, such that they execute the mandate agreed in the last parliament in respect of the same matters.
