Nature of request
The petitioner asks that Edmund and Margery be ordered to acknowledge (by the service of a clove) the king's grant of the reversion of the manor of Little Strickland to him. He states that the manor came into the king's hands through the forfeiture of Andrew Harclay, who granted the manor to Boyvill, his wife and the heirs of their bodies, rendering to him and his heirs a clove. Edmund and Margery (who remain without heirs) leased the manor to Robert for his lifetime, and the petitioner sued Edmund, Margery and Robert that they satisfy him in the aforesaid service, which their attorney has informed him they will not do. Nevertheless, Robert le English commits waste on the said manor.
Nature of endorsement
Let him have a writ of venire facias under the charter made to him, to make the tenants come before the king to attorn according to the terms of the charter and from the king's order.
