Nature of request
Copy of the pardon and grant by which Holland was restored to his estates in year fifteen of the king's father (1321-2), together with lands, goods and chattels previously held by Thomas of Lancaster and Clifford in the [then] king's hands, along with the reversal of this decision in the first parliament of Edward III. Dated at Worcester, 24 December 1327.
Nature of endorsement
John de Burghton, Sheriff of Lancashire, answers thus: Seisin has not been granted to Robert de Holland in any lands or tenements by reason of this writ, because it has not been established which are Robert's lands etc., and which [belong] to others.
