Nature of request
The petitioners ask the king to command his escheator not to enter the priory and administer its goods for the king's use, which has now occurred against their foundation charter. In times past the priory had various rights and obligations bestowed on it by its founder preventing the king's officers from interfering with its goods etc.
Nature of endorsement
The petitioners are to attend chancery and show their foundation charter, which is to be shown in council, and they are to have a writ to the escheator containing the effect of the said charter. They are permitted to enjoy their goods without molestation.
