Nature of request
1) The petitioner seeks an order from the king that he should not be disinherited of his income from wardship, marriage and other profits in the manor of Hadnock. Clifford granted the manor to the king, who granted it to Valence to the disinheritance of the petitioner.2) The petitioner seeks the annulment of a presentation recently made to Minsterworth Church by the bishop, which advowson rightly belongs to the petitioner through his manor of Minsterworth.1)
Nature of endorsement
Concerning the first plea: let justices be assigned to enquire into the contents of the petition in the presence of Aymer de Valence, or the custodians of the said manor, and certify [therein] to the king.2) Concerning the second plea: he is to come into the place of the king's justices and show his right and speak to the king's incumbent clerk to demonstrate his right, and certify [therein] to the king.3) Coram Rege.
