- The petitioner seeks recovery of an annual rent of 2s from a messuage with appurtenances in Lancaster held by Lee of which the prior and his predecessors had seisin and which was acquired by Thomas of Lancaster by purchase, from whom the rent was paid to the prior until his forfeiture. Now the property is in the king's hands and Travers has seisin and withholds the said rent from the prior.
