Nature of request
The petitioner seeks recovery of lands taken into the king's hands after the death of her husband (Thomas of Lancaster) that were held in her own right, together with other parcels of land etc., and all the issues and all the advowsons appertaining to them in the county of Lincoln. She also claims arrears of fees and other advowsons held jointly with her husband and the advowsons of certain churches, and other manors, parcels of land, fees, advowsons etc., held jointly with her husband in various counties.
Nature of endorsement
Explain in chancery which lands and tenements are in the king's hands and which in the hands of others. For those in other hands sue to the common law and for those in the king's hands let the king certify in chancery.Coram Domino Rege.
