1) The petitioner seeks payment of expenses of £11 3s 6d for the time the king's officers, Akaton and Pestour, came to Cheshire and lodged with him in year nine of the king's father and took from Cole (the petitioner's servant) animals and wheat from his house. He has sued in parliament for payment, which the king's father allowed by letters of command, but thus far he has not been paid to his ruin and poverty.2) Memorandum of this in the first expenses roll when Hugh de Lemynstre was treasurer.

This [matter] was explained by the keeper of the royal wardrobe at the time, and the petitioner is to have an acceptable writ.
