The petitioner asks for a writ to the treasurers and barons of the exchequer that they grant him arrears of £53 6s 8d as the sum the receiver of Tutbury, William Dauy (at that time also the king's receiver) made on the sale of 160 woolsacks that rightfully belonged to the petitioner. Officials of the then king seized property worth £500 belonging to the petitioner in error from Tutbury Castle after the dispute between the king's father and Thomas of Lancaster.
Nature of endorsement
Let a writ be sent to the treasurers and barons of the exchequer to inspect William Dauy's accounts and if the king made an incorrect levy then the matter is to be settled in accordance with the statute concerning the said dispute.

Firmly dated by reference to Cal. Mem. Rolls 1326-7, no.632. Kynardeseye was feoffee for Lancaster in many of his property deals, and was executor of his will (still in process in 1327).
