Nature of request
The petitioners ask that they either receive payment of £220, or that the same sum be allowed them by the present parliament as a proportion of the tenth. The petitioners were allowed 20s for each sack of wool they despatched to Utrecht for three years after an agreement made between them for the king's benefit. The petitioners are bound to be fully paid by letters of obligation from the king enrolled in chancery, which have not yet been honoured.
Nature of endorsement
Let the letters patent be inspected in chancery and then let an order be sent to the treasurer, barons, and chamberlains [of the exchequer] that they follow the tenor of the letters and that they pay or make a convenient assignment to the petitioners.
