Nature of request
The petitioner asks that he be granted all the lands with their church advowsons that belonged to Corri (the king's enemy) for himself and his heirs in Kirklinton and Kirkandrews, worth twenty marks in peacetime, for all the losses, injuries and mischief he has suffered in the service of his liege lord the king, and inasmuch as Robert de Bruce granted Corri all the petitioner's lands and goods in England as in Scotland when the petitioner was a knight on the king's part at the siege of Carlisle.
