- The petitioner seeks a writ from the king to his justices that he should not have been outlawed for various robberies in Nottinghamshire before Herle and his fellow itinerant justices, because at the time he was imprisoned in Northampton Castle (by the statute of Acton Burnell) in the custody of the sheriff.
