The petitioner seeks a remedy from the king, as Aune (at that time constable of Tickhill), the Wodehalle brothers, Saperton, and Mapple, took by force and arms from Doncaster, Adwick-le-Street and Arksey his goods and chattels worth £200, and then Aune took a ransom from the petitioner of £10 to remain in his homeland after the death of Thomas of Lancaster.
